This is a beautiful 1951 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith Touring Limousine. This wonderful automobile has a body/coach that was built by the company Hooper and is called the Tiviot III style. This is one of the very last all hand build, aluminum custom bodied Rolls-Royces. The color is Sand over Sable and it is a right hand drive and four speed manual. This car was originally delivered and owned in London. The car eventually made its way to the USA, when exactly is unclear, but believe it was the mid 70s. The car has had a comprehensive repaint and new interior sometime prior to current ownership. While no receipts are available for this work, based on the condition of the paint and interior it is believed to be less than 10 years ago and done to a very high standard. I purchased this wonderful automobile several years ago and promptly undertook work to get the mechanicals in full proper working order. The engine needed a tune up, carburetor and radiator rebuild and new suspension rubber/bushings. Also done was a valve adjustment and distributor rebuild. All of the chrome from the car was removed and re-chromed. The paint has recently been color sanded and buffed
All aspects of this car work as new. A modern 134 dual zone AC system was added by the previous owner and I must say was done so very tastefully so that it is barley noticeable. I live in Arizona and drive this car frequently year around. In 100+ temperatures the car does not overheat and the AC system is very effective.
This is a touring limousine so there is a divider window between the driver and passenger sections of the automobile.
All of the interior passenger compartment and trunk/boot compartment tools are present for this car which if you have ever tried to locate and/or obtain these tools, you know that these are very hard to find and expensive!
The wheel discs were replaced with new and the original style Dunlop black wall tires are also very new.
I have used this car a number of times for family/friend wedding events. Almost every time I drive this car I am stopped at an intersection or public parking area asking me if I do weddings!
It is a truly beautiful car that is very well and fully sorted out. I have driven it regularly and some significant distances and the car drives perfectly as a Rolls Royce should.
